Vienna, VA., October 15, 2015 – AAC Inc. announces that it has received a CIO-SP3 unrestricted task order award of $7M over three years. AAC with its partner, ESAC Inc., will support the effort of establishing and operating the NIH Biomedical Standards Coordinating Center (BSCC) for the purpose of gathering and providing information, guidance, and links to widely used data related standards and resources for biomedical research. The BSCC is a portion of the Big Data to Knowledge (BD2K) initiative, a trans-NIH effort where more than 24 Institutes and Centers will be working together to facilitate knowledge extraction from big data, the exploding quantity of biomedical.
